Currently...

Just come to the end of the final year of my studies for a BSc(Hons) in Product Design at Nottingham Trent University, for which I have been awarded a 1st Class Honours Degree. I am now working as a freelance Design Engineer for Innovate Design, doing some part time lecturing at the University and appearing at design and cycle exhibitions across Europe!

My Major Project for this year was the TrailCat All Terrain Cycle (picture on the Home page and below). A previous project building a tandem tricycle for a child with cerebral palsy helped me discover a whole new approach to thinking about bikes and how some people just can't do the standard sort. Even those that can might prefer something  that is more comfortable to ride and look at the view from.

Amongst other pieces of work this year were an extruded aluminium differential casing, a drawer/cupboard handle with added lighting functionality and a Lego robot programmed to carry a cup of water around an obstacle course.
